Fátima
Unfortunately, Fatima itself does not have a train station. The nearest train station is in Ourem, about 30 kilometers from the village. If you are in Lisbon or Porto and planning to visit Fatima, you have three transportation options to consider:
Rent a car: This option allows you to have more flexibility and independence during your trip. However, it also means that you have to take responsibility for navigating the roads, paying tolls, finding a parking space, and filling up your car.
Take the bus from Lisbon to Fatima: The bus journey usually takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Fatima bus station, you will have to walk about 15 minutes to reach the sanctuary or any hotel around. If you are traveling from Braga, the bus journey takes about 3 hours and 15 minutes. From Porto, the journey takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes.
The closest international airport to Fatima is Lisbon or Porto.
